Description
The Bayliner 3488 Avanti is a wonderful mid-size family cruiser. Large bridge with wraparound seating when you want to be together -- aft deck and cabin when you need some space. The 3488 has room to spread out on weekend cruises or at the dock. The swim platform is large enough to hold a tender. From there it is a step up to the enclosed aft deck. Go through the slider to find the galley to your left and convertible dinette to your right. A counter divides the galley area from a port side settee, which is opposite the lower helm. A centerline companionway takes you below to two staterooms and head with shower. The forward stateroom has queen berth and hanging locker. The guest stateroom has a full berth. The head includes shower stall with bench seat. Above is an enclosed flybridge with wraparound seating that fills the port side of the bridge surrounding a cocktail table. A swivel helm seat lets the captain join the conversation. New Sumbrella enclosures with Eisenglass offer protection from the elements when necessary. Canvas enclosures and twin helm offer the versatility to configure and operate the boat to your style. Generator provides convenience when not on shore power. Salon;The salon, which was recently re-carpeted, has galley and settee to port side and dinette and lower station starboard. Dinette seats four, sleeps two. The forward settee sleeps another two. Lower helm has full instruments. The aft deck acts as an extension of the salon. ;

Galley
Galley;The galley is in the aft port corner of the salon with easy access to the dinette and the aft deck. It includes Arego 4300E stove, microwave oven, Tundra refrigerator, sink, and icemaker. There is a serving counter between the galley and settee.;

Stateroom
Staterooms;The master stateroom is forward and features an offset queen berth, hanging locker and storage compartment. The guest stateroom is portside and has full berth. The head is forward of the lower helm and includes large shower stall with bench seat.;

Aft deck
Aft Deck;Aft deck has new Sumbrelle & Eisenglass enclosure, bench seating on either side with storage underneath. There is a transom door to swim platform and starboard side ladder to flybridge.;

Fly Bridge
Flybridge;Bridge is accessed from starboard side ladder behind the upper helm station. Lounge seating wraps from the ladder port side around to meet the helm and has a cocktail table in the middle. Underway or dockside this would be a gathering place.;

Electronics
Electronics;Both helm stations are equipped electronics that have been added in the last year or two and include: three GPS, two VHF, two RayMarine color plotters, two autopilots. Entertainment electronics include flat screen TV, DVD, VHS, and sound system. A Westerbeke generator keeps all this working when away from shore power.;
