28' ft ALBIN 28 TE flushdeck 2005

She is a 2005 flush deck, white with red bottom paint and trim. We wanted a non-color hull (as much as we like some colors they have) to keep the boat cooler. She has a Yanmar 315 diesel with less than 200 hours. All the break in services have been done by the dealer.

We bought this Albin to see if we liked cruising and wanted a solid, stable boat that will hold its value over time. I researched single screw, diesel boats for about 3 years before settling on Albin. We have used it on several overnight trips and outside in the ocean.
We absolutely love cruising it and decided to move up to a larger boat for the long trips we plan to make and decided to sell now while it is still "new" with low hours (my wife is not so happy about selling it…but she can’t be a normal wife if she married me).

The Albin is heavy enough to ride well (my wife got seasick on our 31 foot sailboat we had before) but doesn't break the bank on fuel. We go for a couple of nights at a time when we cruise and love the way she handles. Steering is a dream, set the wheel and that’s it. My wife is learning how to dock her and the bow thruster is absolutely the only way to go. Easy to drive, easy to park.

The guy who got her new went top of the line on what he ordered. He had the bottom stripped and had the dealer Epoxy/Barrier coat the bottom. I don't understand why someone would do that on a new boat but you can’t get it any better.. He added Garmin radar (with integrated chart plotter, GPS, depth/fish finder), auto pilot, Air conditioning/heat, trim tab indicators. She has an anchor windlass, stainless steel hatches (vs the standard plastic) vacuflush head (we are very happy with this option) back door option to the swim platform. The helm and co-pilot seats are upgraded as well.
