33' ft Allied Sloop 1970

The Luders 33 was designed by Bill Luders and built by Allied Yachts of Catskill, NY, from 1966 until 1974. Throughout its nine year production run, more than 100 were built. The October 1994 issue of Cruising World featured the Luders 33 as one of "Twenty Great Used Boat Bargains". Over time, the relative scarcity, great sailing ability and traditional styling have kept them in demand.
With head room of 6'2", fresh interior paint, teak trim and cabin sole, a complete galley, enclosed head with shower, generous berths to accommodate six, plenty of storage, reliable diesel engine make the Luders 33 is a good choice and great “value” in a comfortable cruiser.

Accommodations
This is a great cruising layout. The interior is light and bright with teak trim. Shelving and storage is everywhere you look, so no space is left unused. A vee berth is forward with storage drawers under. A privacy door separates this area from the main living areas. This area would also make a great sail locker for a couple on an extended cruise. The head compartment follows next aft to port. It is complete with manual marine toilet (with holding tank and treatment system), sink and vanity with hot/cold water and shower with sump pump & drain. This compartment is large and has plenty of storage and locker space above and below. Opposite to starboard is a generous sized hanging locker. The main cabin features settees port and starboard with book cases and storage outboard of each.. The port settee expands to sleep two. A dining table is centered to port. Under the settees are storage compartments for additional gear. The galley is aft on each side of the companionway.
