The first thing you notice entering the cabin is the European influence of quality craftsmanship and understated elegance. The cabin is air conditioned and also features reverse cycle heat for northern boaters or for one of those cool Florida winter mornings. ** All three AC units, that’s right, THREE were installed brand new just one year ago. To starboard is the roomy U-shaped dinette which also converts into a double sleeper if need be. Opposite to port is the fully complimented galley featuring hot/cold pressure water with sink, a microwave, a new refrigerator('01), an electric stove, and excellent cabinet and drawer storage space. The guest stateroom features over and under bunk beds which are very large and easily accommodate two adults in comfort, has very good storage space, an opening porthole, and a door for privacy. Her twin 435HP 3208TA Cats with only 900 hours of original use provide great speed as well as excellent reliability, they purrr like a kitten, and during the current owner’s tenure, these engines have seen not as much as a screw touched by anyone other than a Certified Caterpillar mechanic employed by the local Caterpillar Dealer. Overheat auto-shut down sensors have been added and installed on both engines by this careful and knowledgeable owner owner, a great idea to be sure to save your engines from premature failure. 110V shore power is provided dockside by a 50A shore power service, and while underway the 8.5KW Kohler generator with only 690 hrs of use provides more than enough 110V power to run this boat... and one other! The cord is more easily managed due to its new electrically operated Reel-O-Matic shore cord tender, making sloppy (not to mention unruly to handle at once) shore cords a thing of the past. There is a completely updated and renewed 35,000 BTU, 3-zone AC system which was installed in '02), as well as a new a/c pump to complete the refit. Hi-performance hydraulic trim tabs control the roll and attitude, while the engine synchronizer keeps everything purring in tune.
