9' ft Hatteras Luxury Motor Yacht 1973

The 58 Luxury Motor Yacht is a Jack Hargrave-designed classic, launched as the
flagship of the Hatteras fleet. In beautiful condition, she has been lovingly cared for
by dedicated owners and long-standing crew.

She is a heavily built vessel with a single chine modified-V hull and a long keel for a
stable ride in a seaway. The high-powered Detroit Diesel 1271's give her full power
to navigate in tough conditions. The15KW generator and the inverter provide all
your electric power needs. Electronics include two new GPS chart plotters (one
Color) as well as Furuno radar and Robertson autopilot. Dual steering stations, one
exterior atop the Flybridge and in the interior Pilothouse.

The (highly regarded) surveyor noted in 2005, "She is still in excellent condition and
quite a find for anyone looking for a classic Hatteras, so many of which were heavily
used and show it.” This particular vessel has been extensively refit with reportedly
over $200,000 spent in 1992/93 and appears much newer than her age.

The aft deck is perfect for entertaining, with beautiful teak decking and full bar
facility with sink, and is fully enclosed for protection or opens for fresh air and sun.
Rattan green/white furnishing is friendly and bright.

Interiors have been newly re-fit, including selected fabric by Ralph Lauren. Comfort
is yours in the main salon, with the Kreiss sofa and chair, complemented by back-
friendly leather recliners for full support. Gorgeous original wood paneling gives
her the true Hatteras classic appeal.

The European-style Galley is bright and cheerful, with unique oversize portholes
("picture windows") to allow light and expansive sea views while dining and cooking.
The refit includes a Creda 4-burner cook top with quick-heat halogen burners and
regular/convection oven, an Amana side-by-side refrigerator with icemaker, and
Corian countertops as well as microwave, disposal, on-demand hot water, and a 30-
gal hot water heater.

Accommodations include spacious Master Suite with Queen-size walk-around bed,
full head with separate stall shower, full-length cedar-lined closet, extensive
drawers and storage, and built-in TV. The guest suite includes side-by-side single
beds, full-length closet and it's own full bath with separate stall shower. The
forward cabin also sleeps two in full-length bunks, with its own dedicated head with
shower.

Electronics and Navigation Equipment includes: Furuno radar, Robertson autopilot
(installed 1995), two depth sounders (Impulse and Datamarine), rudder angle
indicator, two magnetic compasses (6" and 4" Danforth), two VHF radios (Icom and
West Marine) one with hailer. Garmin chartplotter 182 in pilothouse and on
flybridge (2005).

Electrical System: 110/220V AC / 32V DC. Onan 15kW genset (recently overhauled
& serviced), Onan 7.5kW genset (7.5 KW genset currently requires service). Thirteen
batteries
(replaced in 2005) with parallel switch, automatic battery charger.

Deck and Hull: Heavy FRP lay up with balsa-cored fiberglass decks (teak on fully
enclosed aft deck), very large and comfortable flybridge accessed via attractive
varnished mahogany and stainless steel fold-up ladder.

Danforth anchor on bow pulpit with Ideal electric windlass and aprox. 200' of 3/8"
chain rode and secondary anchor.

Electric dinghy davit on fly bridge. Teak swim platform with stainless steel ladder.
Fold-away boarding platform/stairs (9 Allan Boarding Ladder) on port side of hull.

Painted wood signal mast. Stainless steel stanchions with Teak Handrails (full canvas
covers) and lifelines above. Coast Guard safety package.

Mechanical Equipment and Engine Details: Twin fresh water-cooled naturally
aspirated V12 Detroit Diesels with full instrumentation and hydraulic steering at
both upper and lower stations. 2" stainless steel shafts thru rubber cutlass bearings
and bronze struts to four-bladed bronze props (replaced in 1999). Four 32V Rule
electric bilge pumps. Hydraulic trim tabs.
