9' ft Gozzard Cutter-rigged sloop 1991 Sarafina is a 1991 Gozzard cutter-rigged sloop with a number of unique features.
Perhaps most interesting is the boat's custom-built cockpit roof. The roof has a three-part glass windshield with electric wiper and a large sliding sunroof allowing easy access to the main traveler, radar module, wind generator, ship's horn and mounted solar panels. The roof provides shade and great protection from the elements and, with the slider open, a view of all sails. This boat has been impeccably maintained by her present owners during 4 years of coastal cruising. Other notable features of this boat include: a 15 GPH watermaker, a brand new custom built polythelene water tank and the Northstar 952 Chartplotter mounted on a swiveling navigation pod. Gozzard is renown for building comfortable and safe boats for live-aboards and cruisers. Sarafina is a rare and beautiful example of this craft. She is fully equipped and ready to sail away. The seating area doubles as storage for the house and starting battery banks and a large utility tool bin. Overhead dorades and hatch and a circulating fan provide cooling air to this area. Salon Unique Gozzard touches include a double salon couch that converts to a centerline, queen-size double berth. This area can also be made into a private stateroom by opening a clever accordion door and a folding wall panel.
