The Hunter 38 has a oversized aft cabin with upgraded inner spring mattress and flat-screen TV/DVD, and a large vee-berth forward. The single head is to port of the companionway and the galley with corian countertops, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, and two burner stove/oven to starboard. The large salon has an entertainment system consisting of a TV, Bose CD/DVD and speakers, a convertible table, and a two comfortable settees for seating. The opening hatches have Ocean Air sliding shade/screens. The entire cabin is cooled/heated with dual MarineAire a/c systems. One for the salon/forward cabin and one specifically for the aft cabin. The boad is equipped with a full Raymarine navigation package and an upgraded 40 hp Yanmar diesel with three-bladed prop. The boat comes fully equipped with dock lines, fenders, two anchors with rode and a Simpson/Lawrence windlass, safety equipment, some navigation charts, navigation chips for the East Coast including Florida and the Bahamas, LifeSling, full cockpit cushions, Kato dingy davits, and cockpit canvas including bimini and dodger.

Electronics

The Hunter 38 has a full Raymarine electronics package including Raymarine Pathfinder Radar with integrated RL70C chartplotter/GPS, ST-7001 autopilot, ST-60 wind indicator, ST-60 depth, and ST-60 speed all mounted in an extended Navpod at the helm. As for communication, there is a ICOM VHF at the nav station with a remote RAM mic at the helm.
Electrical

The Hunter 38 has full Nav lights, Bose stereo CD/DVD, tanks systems monitor, Force 10 water heater, 2 flat-screen TV’s, house battery a separate starter battery, and a dual battery charger.
Deck

The rig is the standard B&R mast made by Selden with a in-mast furling mainsail. The head sail is a 105% furling jib on the Furlex furler. All lines run aft to the cockpit sheetstoppers. The halyard winches are Lewmar 40's and the jib sheet winches are Lewmar 44's. The mainsheet traveler is mounted over the cockpit on the trademark Hunter cockpit arch.
