It is the owner’s opinion that once this setup was done by him to prove the motor operational and then to extract oil samples for analysis, that it not be run from the ship’s tank until they are clean. He has never used the main centerline tank and it has been properly taken out of service for safety. Both saddle tanks were used in their trips to and from the Caribbean over an eight year period but all three tanks now need service in his opinion, an opinion which I endorse.
